K7 Evaluation System

 

For help with your aching jaw or help with your migraines, Dr. Westman has muscle relaxation equipment and equipment that will help find YOUR healthiest, most comfortable jaw position.

First, we’ll evaluate your jaw position and look at how you bite and clench your jaw. We’ll use a diagnostic computer software program that analyzes the way your jaws move, reads muscle activity levels of your facial and jaw muscles, and identifies noises from your jaw joints.

 

TENS (Transcutaneous Electro Neural Stimulation)

From there a TENS machine relaxes your face and jaw muscles by delivering gentle pulses to the facial muscle. The gentle pulsation and massage of the muscles increases blood flow, helps ease any discomfort and relaxes the muscles in your face and jaw, enabling us to determine your most natural bite position.

Being in a new jaw position might keep you from grinding, having migraines, breaking teeth, having neck or other muscle pain, halt ringing of the ears, stop vertigo (dizziness), and may eliminate TMJ pain.

The i-Cat Scan is a dental imaging machine that provides high quality, digital imaging making it cost effective, safe and fast. (20-40 sec.)

Computer controlled software delivers a quick and easy 3D scan of the patients head which provide the dentist with information that can be used for dental treatment.
